John McCain, the senior senator from Arizona, plans to cut short an overseas congressional fact-finding trip to attend the Wednesday memorial service for the shooting victims in Tucson.
Spokeswoman Brooke Buchanan said the Republican senator and his wife, Cindy,will attend the 6 pm (local) service on the University of Arizona campus and a spokesperson for Arizona Republican Jon Kyl, says the state's junior senator will be there too.
Rep. Raul Grijalva, D-Ariz., has said he plans to attend the service in Tucson as well.
Rep. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., will manage Republican time on the House floor Wednesday when the House considers a resolution honoring the dead and wounded and recognizing acts of heroism on Saturday.
