Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., can be seen in a viral video making the rounds on the Internet crashing a meeting held by Orange County Republicans and confronting a county mayoral candidate, MyFoxOrlando.com reports.
The incident happened Thursday night at a Florida Perkins restaurant.
Grayson accused the group of spying on Democrats, saying, "I want you to know this is how low you've all sunk to."
The Florida Democrat read from a flyer that he said described how some Republicans admitted infiltrating pro-Obama groups to get information about political strategy.
"Local activists were shocked to see a sitting member of Congress have such a child-like tantrum, and we're blown away by Grayson's blatant disregard for his constituents," Tea Party Patriots activist Tom Tillison told MyFoxOrlando.com.
Grayson says he believes his actions were justifiable.
"I think what we're seeing, unfortunately, is the Republican party turning to its roots -- corruption, lying and spying," he told MyFoxOrlando.com.
