Following his official swearing-in ceremony on the floor of the Senate, that body’s newest member, Senator Scott Brown (R-MA), headed to the Old Senate Chamber for a mock-swearing-in photo opportunity.

Through the clacking of dozens of camera shutters Sen. Brown remarked that he was humbled to meet Vice President Joe Biden. He also said that he always appreciated the Vice President’s “sense of humor.”

The VP didn’t’ disappoint on that count, pointing to the assembled cameras and asking, “Is one of these yours? Don’t worry I have a White House photographer here.”

Biden told Brown that being a member of the Senate was the best job that he ever had. He then recited the oath of office once again, this time to the junior Senator from the Commonwealth of Massachussets.
