Sen-elect Scott Brown, R-MA, is expected to be sworn in Thursday evening at 5pm as a U.S. senator, this according to congressional officials.

Brown is expected to obtain the necessary two signatures required to be seated – that of the Governor and Secy of the Commonwealth.

Brown will take the late Sen. Ted Kennedy’s old office, which is currently occupied by appointed Sen. Paul Kirk, D-MA, a longtime Kennedy aide and friend.
