You’ve heard the prebuttal, the address, the response, and now it’s time for the reaction! Senate Democrats hold a press conference to discuss Wednesday’s State of the Union address.

House Republican leadership will also react to the President’s address before heading off to Baltimore, Maryland for an Issues Retreat. On Friday, they will have an opportunity to react to the President face to face, as he will meet with the GOP caucus in Charm City.

After coming into session in the morning, the Senate is expected to have a cloture vote to end debate on Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke’s nomination to a second term as head of the financial regulatory body. There may be a final vote to follow. Stay tuned…
