The anticipated beer fest between President Obama, Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates and Cambridge police Sergeant James Crowley will hopefully happen this week, says White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

In a morning meeting with reporters, Gibbs said whenever the three men do have their sit down, cameras will be allowed in.

As for what kind of beer will be served, Crowley is a Blue Moon guy according to Gibbs. Gates' beverage of choice is either Red Stripe or Becks. Obama's? Gibbs noted that at the Major League Baseball All Star Game POTUS drank...Budweiser.

The president's domestic choice didn't go over well with Fox White House correspondent Wendell Goler, who told Gibbs in today's briefing Mr Obama's suds don't measure up.

"Why do you hate Budweiser, Wendell?" Gibbs asked Goler, before then extending an invitation to "do the beer run together" in anticipation of the meeting.

We'll be following up with Wendell for sure!
