It’s genocide.  And although most humans have committed to making sure genocide never happens again, Hillary Clinton has made a political commitment to not send U.S. troops to stop this growing genocide, no matter what the U.S. intelligence tells her.

“Donald Trump has been all over the place on ISIS. He’s talked about letting Syria become a free zone for ISIS. A major country in the Middle East that could launch attacks against us and others. He’s talked about sending ground troops — American ground troops. Well, that is off the table as far as I am concerned,” Clinton said.

It is beyond troubling to see a politician make such a naive political promise about our U.S. national security.

ISIS will certainly be pleased to know that whatever they do, wherever they go, however brutal they continue to be, Hillary Clinton still isn’t sending U.S. troops to stop them.  It’s perplexing that she has kept this weak stance in the face of growing turmoil throughout the world, but especially in Syria.

It is the exact failing strategy that President Obama has been using in Syria for the past five years.  Obama also made a political promise to the left wing Democrat base that he wouldn’t send U.S. troops overseas.  His political promise, made on the campaign trail in 2008, supersedes any U.S. intelligence information made available to him by the Central Intelligence Agency or recommended by military and diplomatic advisers.

Last month, in his speech to the Democratic National Convention, President Obama admitted that his ISIS strategy won’t defeat ISIS over the next six months. Obama conceded that ISIS will still be around when the next president takes office in January 2017, which is sadly consistent with his lack of strategy from Day One: He just won’t do what needs to be done.

“I know Hillary won’t relent until ISIL is destroyed. She’ll finish the job,” said Obama.

It was a stunning admission from the leader of the free world: even with all that is happening, he is not willing to stop ISIS for the next six months.
