President Obama's Debt Commission has proposed dramatic changes to Social Security, limiting Medicare and suggests eliminating the popular mortgage interest deduction for homeowners. It also proposes simplifying the tax code and lowering income tax rates. Would you be willing to give up your mortgage deduction for a flat tax or something resembling it?
