      Good Morning

      Less than 3 months until voters head to the polls! Hard to believe I know.

      President Obama is searching for votes today in Colorado.. where the latest polling shows him running behind Governor Mitt Romney. He's pushing an economic fairness message today.. and will be speaking live during the Noon hour. It comes as the Obama campaign faces intense criticism for an ad being run in support of the President. An ad run by a pro-Obama super pac suggests Romney is to blame for the death of a woman from cancer. The Romney campaign calls it "despicable."

      The Romney campaign also facing some trouble.. after suggestions of the benefits of some of the provisions of Romney's passage of health care in Massachusetts. That's not likely to please the republican base.

      Governor Romney is in NYC today doing some fundraising.

      Speculation is running rampant about the possibility of a VP announcement "soon." Among the names being bandied about? Chris Christie, Gen David Petraeus, Tim Pawlenty, Rob Portman, Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan.. Stay tuned!

      There's a big storm moving slowly up the coast of Mexico. It's allegedly re-strengthening into a hurricane.

      We're going to take a closer look at that swarm of quakes in Southern California today.. Could it be a precursor of something larger? We'll ask a geologist.
