New developments in the Fast and Furious gun walking
scandal. The full Congress will vote next week about whether or not to hold
Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt.. If that happens, it would have to be
enforced by someone who works underneath Holder.. not very likely. Both sides are digging in for
a long and ugly fight.
William La Jeunesse talked with slain border patrol agent Brian
Terry's parent, Kent and Josephine. He'll have parts of that conversation for

President Obama to address the same group of Hispanics that Governor
Mitt Romney spoke to yesterday. He's at the NALEO Conference in Orlando, FL.

Horrific new details emerging in the sex abuse case against
Jerry Sandusky. The jury now has the case, but there are reports that Sandusky's
adopted *son* was planning on testifying that he too was sexually
assaulted by his father.. We could get a
verdict as soon as today.
European leaders are meeting today in Rome to try to come up
with ways to ease their debt crisis. There's also a plan being considered to
tax financial transactions.. that would help fund future bailouts.
This comes as Moody's downgraded the debt of some 15 major
banks. Stocks plunged yesterday with the Dow falling more than 250 points. Oil
fell below $78 a barrel! Fears are growing about how quickly the global economy
is slowing.
Taliban terrorists killed 17 people - mostly civilians - in an
attack on a lakeside hotel north of Kabul.
The Associated Press is reporting that the U.S. is so fed up
with lack of cooperation by Pakistan, they are considering allowing
joint-U.S.-Afghan commando raids *inside* Pakistan to combat attacks in
Afghanistan by groups operating in Pakistan .
The United States and South Korea conducting massive war
games today near the DMZ... the heavily armed border between South and North
Korea. It comes at a time of increasing tension of increasingly irrational North
Korean behavior.
The Muslim Brotherhood is calling for a "million man" march
today to Tahrir Square to protest moves by the Army to limit the popularly
elected government.
