Maybach is back.

Mercedes-Benz’s bling division was discontinued in 2012 due to slow sales, but has been resurrected as an ultra-luxury sub brand.

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is the first model in the lineup to be revealed. Priced at around $200,000, it features an 8.1-inch stretch, the 523 hp twin-turbocharged V12 engine from the S600, and is billed as the quietest car in the world.

Rear seat passengers benefit the most from the updates, all two of them that is. The aft cabin is first class all the way, with reclining massage seats, leg rests, heated and cooled cupholders, integrated champagne flutes, retractable tables, individual entertainment screens and myriad trim options

Front seat passengers benefit from upgraded appointments, as well, while the driver is provided with a full suite of Mercedes-Benz autonomous driving aids, including steering assist and a night vision camera.

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will be on sale in April, just in time for prom, or whatever the children of moguls and celebrities do in the spring.
