If you want to eat with the boss, it’s going to cost you.

Ford CEO Mark Fields is auctioning off a lunch date at the company’s HQ in Dearborn, Mich., with the proceeds going to charity. Fields will host the winning bidder and a guest for a one-hour lunch date at Ford’s penthouse dining room.

Bidding on CharityBuzz.com ends at 3pm EDT Thursday, and as of 9:26 am had reached $75,000. The auction benefits Focus: Hope, a Detroit civil rights organization that runs food and career training program.

But there’s an informal competition at stake, too.

Earlier in October, GM CEO Mary Barra held a similar auction for Detroit’s College for Creative Studies that went for $100,000.

Is a meal Fields worth as much as one with Barra?

Check back this afternoon to find out.
