Just last week, some parents were in an uproar over a new candy that they say encourages kids to smoke marijuana. "Pothead Ring Pops" (yes, you guessed it) are sour apple-flavored suckers in the shape of marijuana leaves. Pretty bizarre.

As neighborhood kids start preparing to turn into ghost and goblins in order to collect mountains of loot for Halloween, that got us wondering what other strange and creepy things could wind up in the pillow case.

We're not talking about pop rocks or weird colored M&Ms --or even those non-candy alternatives, like erasers that never seem to erase.

There are some creepy and gross novelty items out there -- from candy blood, silver bullet mints, and even sushi gummies shaped into body parts, that, let's just say should only be available once a year.
