Surgeons remove golf ball-sized tumor from girl's face

A 7-year-old girl is smiling again after surgeons removed a large tumor on her face, The Mirror reported.

Lottie Hankins was only days-old when her parents noticed a “smudge” on her face – but it turned into a tumor the size of a golf ball.

Lottie, who lives in Northampton, U.K., told the newspaper she has endured years of pain and insults.

“Now, she has normal lips like me, which is what she wanted,” Lottie’s mother, Julia, said.

Doctors had diagnosed the tumor as 36 hemangiomas, which are blood vessels that combine into a benign tumor.
