Doc Says He Can Laser Brown Eyes Blue

Tired of having brown eyes? 

Dr. Gregg Homer, based in Los Angeles, has conjured up a new procedure that uses a laser to permanently change brown eyes into blue ones -- and has even started limited testing on human subjects.

The technology, called Lumineyes, takes only minutes and uses the laser to melt away the brown pigment, or melanin, from the top layer of an eyeball’s iris.

The surgery does not come cheap -- each eye costs as much as $2,500.
