Matthew McConaughey’s transformation, both physically and as an actor with surprising chops, made the Academy take notice.  Inspired by his intense role as a homophobic HIV-infected macho rodeo guy-turned-pharmaceutical entrepreneur, Boston’s Town Stove and Spirits – who are boasting an entire nominee list of cocktails at their bar – came up with this nod to Matthew’s amaciated star-turn.

Ingredients:

2 ounce vodka

1/2 ounce pear puree

1 ounce St. Germaine

Prosecco

Preparation:

Pour the vodka, pear puree, and St. Germaine into an ice-filled shaker.

Shake and strain into a nice, long skinny Champagne flute.

Top with Prosecco.
