Try this Dominican riff on the daiquiri.

1 1/2 ounce Brugal Extra Dry Rum
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce basil and mint syrup
1/4 ounce ginger juice
1/4 ounce homemade ginger ale
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Fine strain into a coupe glass and garnish with basil and lime wedge.
