Want to get a Krabby Patty fresh off the grill? You’ll have to go to Ramallah on the West Bank–but it might be worth it.
A company called Salta Burgers is building an exact replica of the Krusty Krab—the fast food joint Bikini Bottom, where SpongeBob Squarepants, Patrick and Squidward work in the Nickelodeon cartoon, the International Business Times reports.
The place is still under construction, but the lobster trap-style building looks pretty authentic –down to the flags outside.
According to the Krusty Krab Facebook page, they’re looking for cooks, cashiers, cleaners and security guards. There’s no word on when the place opens and the menu remains a bit of a mystery. But we’re hoping the employees will have to wear square pants and little red ties.
So will SpongeBob be a hit in landlocked Ramallah? Judging by how desperate KFC fans were to get their hands on a piece of chicken, that’s a good chance.
