Forget about that don’t-eat-anything-you-love diet you may be on for swimsuit season.

We discovered the mouthwatering secret to baking chewy, luscious, fudgy brownies featuring rich layers of chocolate and velvety smooth peanut butter. All you need to do is skip the flour.

Don’t worry, there is no superfood trickery involved. Blogger and recipe developer Averie Sunshine of Averie Cooks insists no black beans, avocado, quinoa, or any other healthy replacements were added to make these tantalizing morsels. It’s just chocolate on top of chocolate.

And we wouldn’t want it any other way.

“Lately when I see flourless brownie recipes on the web, it’s a safe bet that there are beans in them,” explains Sunshine. “I love beans, but I’ll keep them in my slow-cooker and out of my brownie, thanks.”

“These brownies are made with just a few simple ingredients,” Sunshine says. “Chocolate, peanut butter, sugar, eggs. Now we’re talking.”

According to Sunshine, not only is this drool-worthy dessert super easy to make whenever those pesky cravings strike, but they only take mere minutes to perfect. Oh yeah, there’s less butter in this variation than in the typical brownie recipe, so you won’t feel too guilty in indulging.

“Chocolate is good, but if I can work peanut butter into something, even better,” she says. “By adding peanut butter to the batter, I was able to reduce the amount of butter used, too.”

If there’s not enough of the sticky treat to keep you tummy content, don’t fret. Sunshine drizzles even more peanut butter on top of the brownies. For caffeine fiends, there’s something for you, too. Sunshine adds a touch of coffee to make the chocolate flavor even more intense.
