We’re in a word whirlwind this week at The Daily Meal.

Just a few days ago we shared our favorite food quotes worth tweeting — and some of you listened up and tweeted! In our initial research, scattered between the words of greats like Julia Child, Federico Fellini, and Kate Spade, we found quite a few quotables from celebrities that were just impossible to ignore.

Let’s face it — celebrities say the darndest things sometimes. For example, let’s revisit Jessica Simpson’s unforgettable Chicken of the Sea comment during her reality show, Newlyweds, with then-husband Nick Lachey.

Just watch the video, it’s that good. Sure, Simpson was just curious, but it still doesn’t change the fact that she said it.
