They're really thinking out of the box for this one.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, Pizza Hut is offering a "Dinner Box Proposal Package". For just a mere $10,010 you can get a ruby engagement ring, limo service, flowers, fireworks show, photographer, videographer and of course, a $10 Dinner Box.
Now some may think the new $10 Dinner Box-- which includes a medium one-topping rectangular pan pizza, five breadsticks with marinara sauce and 10 cinnamon sticks with a sweet icing -- is worth $10.
But any self-respecting girl I am sure would rather want the $10k to go towards a ring --preferably diamond, although Pizza Hut says there are sparkly diamonds on the ruby ring.
Here is Pizza Hut's thinking:
“If we’re able to fit pizza, breadsticks and dessert into one box for only $10, why stop there?” asked Kurt Kane, Pizza Hut CMO. “Our customers want the best of everything, from their food to memorable life experiences. So we decided to make one of those experiences – the marriage proposal – second-to-none and offer it at PizzaHut.com right alongside the new $10 Dinner Box.”
There are only 10 packages are available for sale, and the promotion ends on Valentine's Day -- so here's your chance for those ready to pop the question.
It will be interesting to see who takes advantage of the offer. Let's hope both are Pizza Hut fans to set the engagement off right.
