Say it ain’t so!
Tween super couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez – aka Jelena - the worst hybrid name ever - have reportedly parted ways. Rumors began circulating their romance was dunzo when the Biebs was spotted out and about with a Victoria’s Secret model. The runway strutter claims she and the teen idol are just friends. But maybe Selena doesn’t see it that way!
While there has been no official confirmation from the couple on their split, that hasn’t stopped Hollywood types from talking about life post Jelena.
FOX411 talked to celebrity publicist Soulgee McQueen, CEO of TRIO Entertainment, about the future of the super young stars.
McQueen thought each star’s fans would stick with them, and that Bieber may even profit from his newly single status, saying: “I think it may get better for Justin now that the ladies see that he’s a free agent. It may enhance his fan base even more.”
But G4TV exec Scott Moore saw it differently.
“Let’s be honest,” he said. “The relationship definitely increased Selena’s stock way more than the other way around. It kept her on the map!”
Moore said that if Selena keeps doing what’s she’s doing, working hard, getting acting gigs and making albums, she’s going to remain a force to be reckoned with. Remember, she only twenty years old!
While our experts are keeping level heads, the same cannot be said for the many Jelena fans who have tweeted these past few days that their lives are over.
Tweens can be so dramatic!
