An Instagram feud is apparently heating up between former flames Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber.
It all started when Gomez reportedly had a few choice words for her ex-boyfriend after he threatened to make his Instagram page private because fans were being mean to new gal pal, Sofia Richie.
According to a screenshot of Bieber’s Instagram comments captured by fans, Gomez called out Bieber for not being able to handle the spotlight.
"If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol," she wrote, the New York Daily News reported. "It should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans, they love you."
The “Sorry” singer was not entirely impressed with the comment and responded.
"It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love," the 22-year-old singer fired back. "I'm not for anyone receiving hate. Hope you all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my Beliebers."
And it seems like Gomez didn't want her ex to get the last word in. She fired back with her own stinging comment – which seemed to accuse Bieber of cheating on her during their two-year relationship.
“Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love," she wrote.
To which she added: “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love.”
According to Us Weekly, her response had the internet going wild with the hashtag #SelenaEndedJustinParty.
