Money can’t buy you love.

And that’s good news for Eva Longoria’s entrepreneur boyfriend, Ernesto Arguello, because he doesn’t have any.

New information has revealed her new love is over $4 million in debt.

The National Enquirer reports Arguello filed for “Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2012, listing $1,555 in assets and a $4.1M in liabilities, claiming he had just $5 on him at the time.”

But despite his alleged financial woes, Longoria, who is worth $35 million, is getting serious about Arguello.

“My guess would be they'll be married within the next year,” a source told the Daily Mail. “Eva is so down to earth, she doesn't 'act famous' at all. He is definitely not dating her because she is famous ... they're not a Hollywood couple. They're very real and very in love.”

Just last week, after months of speculation, Longoria confirmed she and Arguello were an item.

Longoria, 38, and Arguello, 34, met last year after he was cast in her reality matchmaking show, “Ready for Love.” Arguello ended the season paired up with former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey, but that relationship didn’t last.

“I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn’t see!” Longoria jokingly told People magazine.

“Happy to share NOW that it’s true! Couldn’t be happier,” Longoria tweeted while sharing People Magazine’s article about her new romance.

“Me too baby, I LOVE YOU,” Arguello said as he retweeted the “Desperate Housewives” star’s declaratory tweet.
