It’s a Pentatonix wedding.
The a capella group’s only female singer Kirstin Maldonado is going to tie the knot to longtime boyfriend, Jeremy Michael Lewis.
The singer showed off her sparkling engagement ring in an Instagram photo this week, while he tweeted: “She said yes.”
Lewis proposed to his bride-to-be in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris where Pentatonix was set to perform as part of their worldwide tour.
“My love, No words could begin to describe the feelings and impact you have had on my life over the past two and a half years, but I'll do my best,” he wrote in an Instagram post showing him on one knee in front of the French monument – the picture was taken by Paris-based photographer Pierre Torset.
The post continued, “What we have is special. It's something I will never take for granted – and although there have been countless times something has tried to get in our way and pull us apart, the only thing that matters is that we never listened. We are here, and each day we become closer, and what we have built together continues to grow stronger.”
On Twitter, Maldonado wrote: “Google search – how to plan a wedding.”
Pentatonix is touring Europe, Japan and the U.S. through November.
The happy couple’s celebrations were dampened slightly on Wednesday after Maldonado’s phone was stolen.
“To whoever stole @kirstin_taylor's phone: Please send me the photos from our engagement. Keep the phone, just give back our memories. Thx,” Lewis tweeted.
