Denise Richards is suing her ex-husband Charlie Sheen for $1.2 million, but she says it’s not about her: it’s about their two children.

“Denise is fighting for her children. This has nothing to do with her, the money is for her kids,” Richards’ rep Jill Fritzo told FOX411. “This is about him providing for the children as he agreed to do."

Sheen allegedly evicted Richards from a house he provided her and their two children, and she has been paying $15,000/month in rent on another place since, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

In those documents, Richards also claims she heard Sheen tell their daughter Lola "I'm going to kill you and I'm going to kill your mom,” and that he sent Lola a text referring to Richards that read: "B---- couldn't act hot in a fire or wet in a pool."

Sheen's lawyer Martin Singer told People magazine the text was supposed to to go Richards, not her daughter.

"The texts were to Denise," Singer says. "It is very sad that she uses the children to get more money from Charlie and makes it almost impossible for Charlie to see his daughters."

Singer also said Richards should be happy with the money she has already gotten.

"Denise Richards is not satisfied that she has received $660,000 tax free each year for almost 10 years," he told People. "It is not enough money for her, besides the approximate $10 million she has received from Charlie under her short marriage."

But Richards isn’t having it, tweeting on Friday: "Mr. Singer according to your calculations your client owes me an enormous balance. Wow thank u!"

Richards and Sheen were married from 2002-2005. Sheen disclosed he was HIV positive in November, 2015.
