Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is brushing off reports that her husband, Jionni LaValle, joined the Ashley Madison cheating site.
The reality star took to social media on Tuesday to deny a story written by Us Weekly saying that an email used in the controversial site matched that of her man.
“This morning when I got a call from my publicist that a story was going to be printed on my husband ‘allegedly’ signing up on Ashley Madison, I laughed – and said lets not even comment and give the story any juice, because it couldn’t be further from the truth,” she wrote on her Instagram. “But now seeing how it’s the ‘news of the day’ and everyone is wondering what I think about it – here it is. Jionni is the the most humble, respectful, and most loyal souls I know. I mean hello that’s why I married him.”
The 27-year-old Chilean-born reality star went on to say that she supported her man and would stand by him.
“So no, my husband didn’t sign up on that website to cheat on me. Honestly, if he wanted to cheat, he would go out and do it. Not sign up on a website and pay for it,” Polizzi wrote. “Jionni is a good guy and doesn’t need his name being tarnished. Nor does our family.”
She continued: “We did nothing wrong to deserve this. So with all of this said, I love you babe. And even though I’m a pain in the ass, I know you would never cheat on me. Especially on a lame ass website.”
Soon after his wife’s post, LaValle, 28, took to Twitter, in what seemed to be a denial of the report.
“I may not go on cheating websites but I diffidently go on Twisteds website!!” he wrote, linking to a photo of Twisted Tea chair and clothing items.
Polizzi and LaValle married in late November. They have two children, Lorenzo, 3, and Giovanna, 11 months.
