Raunchy Miley Cyrus shots building MTV buzz?

Miley Cyrus’ Instagram account is on fire ahead of her August 30 Video Music Award hosting gig.
Cyrus posted 23 photos in the past 24 hours alone, with subjects ranging from her cat, to a raunchy W shoot, to hanging backwards out of a Bentley smoking a cigarette, to a billboard for the VMA awards show.
Cyrus, 22, has almost 27 million followers on the popular social media site, and each of her pics during the 24-hour period were “liked” by hundreds of thousands of fans.

But Cyrus’ relationship with Instagram hasn’t always been smooth. Several topless photos she posted have been removed from the site, which has a strict “no nipples” policy.
Cyrus is a staunch advocate of the “Free the Nipple” campaign, which says allowing men to go shirtless but not women, is hypocritical and unfair.
Earlier in the week, Miley Cyrus skirted Instagram’s policy by posting a topless photo of herself with a giant star superimposed on her breast.
Cyrus has managed to transform herself from the squeaky clean star of Disney’s “Hannah Montana” franchise to a sex object seemingly overnight with her posts, magazine shoots, and suggestive videos and performances.
Her watershed moment was the 2013 VMA awards, where she twerked in a barely there outfit against singer Robin Thicke and danced with a giant foam finger.
