Taylor Swift isn't going to let something like a complete mechanical stage malfunction get in the way of entertaining her fans!

The "Blank Space" singer, who is on her "1989" World Tour, was performing at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., on Monday when she found herself, stuck on an extendable stage which had suddenly working.

"I'll just be here forever. Stuck up here, unless I choose to jump down," Taylor told the sold-out crowd while laughing. "But in the meantime, I'm gonna sing a song for you called 'Clean' and I hope you'll sing along."

Swift was able to laugh off the unfortunate incident, telling the crowd that they were going to get a very "unique" show.

Moments before Taylor got stuck, she had just finished performing with her special guest star for the evening, Lorde.

The 18-year-old New Zealand pop star took the stage as the crowd went wild, and performed her hit song "Royals" with the 25-year-old Swift. So even without the unexpected hiccup, it was already an unforgettable night.
