Adult entertainment company Vivid says it has sent a letter to Courtney Stodden offering her $1 million to distribute a sex tape it says it has, TMZ reports.

Company president Steven Hirsch told FOX411 that Stodden’s video “came to us from a third party” and he doesn’t know “if the third party knows Courtney or not.”

Stodden, 20, is managed by her mother, and has as relationship with much older actor Doug Hutchison, who she married at age 16 in 2011 and divorced two years later.

Hirsch said he is “going to move forward and try to distribute” the video if he can get Stodden's John Hancock.

FOX411 reached out repeatedly to Stodden for comment, but hasn't heard back.

Trumpeting $1 million dollar celebrity sex tape offers is nothing new for Vivid, which made similar claims about Farrah Abraham's raunchy video. Many, however, doubt the figures come close to the claims.

“The entire celebrity sex video genre is a lot of unsubstantiated marketing with very little truth behind it," a source told FOX411 when Abraham's video was released. "It’s all publicity. It’s all hype.”
