Nickelodeon has acquired the rights to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s library of movies and series from the ’90s and early 2000’s, which will begin to air this month.

The kids’ cable network will be bringing four of the Olsen twins’ series, seven TV movies and two music video specials from 1994-2003 to a new generation of viewers, rolling out titles over the year.

“Mary-Kate and I are excited to announce our video library will be available to the Nickelodeon community,” said Ashley Olsen. Her sister added, “Nickelodeon has been at the forefront of kids entertainment for decades. We believe this is the perfect home for our library.”

Kicking off on April 27 with teen sitcom “So Little Time,” which originally premiered in 2001 on ABC Family, all 26 episodes will air weekdays on Nickelodeon at 7:30 p.m.

Following “So Little Time,” Nickelodeon will dive back into the Olsen’s archives, airing 10 episodes of “The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley” (1994), 10 episodes of direct-to-VHS series “You’re Invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley’s” (1995) and 26 episodes of animated series “Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action!” (2001).

Nickelodeon has also acquired TV movies “Our Lips Are Sealed” (2000), “Winning London” (2001), “Holiday in the Sun” (2001), “Mary‐Kate & Ashley’s Fashion Forward” (2001), “When in Rome” (2002), “Getting There: Sweet 16 and Licensed to Drive” (2002) and “The Challenge” (2003).

The music specials include “Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen: Our First Video” (1995) and “Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen: Our Music Video” (1997).

Keith Dawkins, SVP and general manager of Nicktoons, TeenNick and Nick Jr. commented, “We’re incredibly excited to bring the Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen’s video library to Nickelodeon. The timeless content and style, relatable sibling dynamics and overall appeal of Mary-Kate and Ashley make this a great addition to Nick’s platforms.”

The news comes just days after confirmation of Netflix’s “Full House” sequel series, which will consist of 13 episodes, though the Olsens are not committed the project.
