Jennifer Lopez is an inspiration to many for many things. She's probably the main impetus behind female pop stars these days being all about that bass. But did you know this little fun fact? She's also why Google Images was born.
Google’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt wrote in a blog post after the stunning star wore her infamous dare to bare Versace dress to the 2000 Grammy's, the search engine went crazy with people looking to see some pics, so Google answered their requests by creating an image section.
"At the time, it was the most popular search query we had ever seen," he wrote. "But we had no surefire way of getting users exactly what they wanted: JLo wearing that dress. Google Image Search was born."
The 45-year-old actress/singer was happy to trumpet the revelation and about her dress being apart of Internet history on Instagram.
