As Bobbi Kristina Brown lies in a hospital bed at Emory University Hospital, her extended family is reportedly filming a reality show.

TMZ first reported the news of the reality show, and a lawyer for her father told the gossip site Bobby Brown will not appear in the series. Bobby Brown’s sisters, brother and their kids are at the center of the show, the gossip site reports.

Bobbi Kristina Brown is the only daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston.

According to TMZ, the series has not been filmed inside the hospital, but the family members involved regularly allow cameras to capture them discussing Bobbi Kristina Brown.

A source close to the situation slammed the Brown family members who are involved in the alleged show.

"Almost since day one, the Brown family has been jockeying for attention and to cash in," our source revealed. "They've repeatedly demanded money for interviews from the local Atlanta outlets and newspapers. It's been a travesty..."

A lawyer for Bobby Brown released a statement to FOX411 regarding reports of the show.

"There is no Brown family reality show that is in production which chronicles Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina or the medical emergency she presently faces at Emory Hospital," the lawyer stated.

When pressed on whether or not other members of the family were working on a TV show, the lawyer told FOX411, "Extended family members are not my clients." However, he insisted, "There will never be a show chronicling Bobbi Kristina from anyone."

Bobby Brown added in a statement, “We continue to request privacy in regards to my daughter’s medical condition. We thank everyone that supports Bobbi Kristina and God is hearing our prayers.”

Reps for Emory University Hospital did not immediately return FOX411’s requests for comment.

Bobbi Kristina Brown has been hospitalized since Jan. 31, when she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her home.

The discovery came almost three years to the day after singing sensation Houston was found unresponsive in a bathtub in Feb. 2011 on the eve of the Grammys, sending shockwaves through the music world. Houston was later pronounced dead and her death was ruled an accidental drowning with cocaine and heart disease listed as contributing factors.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was discovered by a friend and her partner, Nick Gordon, who she often referred to as her husband. She was subsequently placed on life support.

MORE: Who really found Bobbi Kristina?

On Friday, our source told us Bobbi Kristina Brown has shown "absolutely no signs of life lately."

“It is really on Bobby Brown’s shoulders to let her go in peace,” the source revealed. “It is something that the Houston and Brown [families] had agreed to do as early as February 11, but Bobby Brown reneged.”

Back in 2005, Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown starred in the short-lived 10-episode reality series “Being Bobby Brown.” Several members of the extended Brown family appeared in that show.
