If you want a singing impersonator, Christina Aguilera is your girl.
“The Voice” coach stopped by NBC’s “The Tonight Show” on Monday and agreed to play “Wheel of Musical Impressions” with host Jimmy Fallon.
The duo took turns and Aguilera’s impression, with a little musical help from The Roots, was spot on with her impressions of Colombian singer Shakira, “Mickey Mouse Club” co-star Britney Spears and music legend Cher.
“Don’t be nervous,” Fallon, 40, told the pop diva, 34, before they started.
Aguilera kicked it with a near perfect impression of Cher singing the catching Folgers Coffee jingle.
“That was so stupid,” she said laughing.
For Fallon’s first turn, he sang “Grand Old Flag” as David Bowie, before Aguilera had to sing “This Little Piggy” as Spears.
“You know Britney Spears, right?” Fallon asked.
“A little bit,” Aguilera responded after howling in laughter. “A little bit.”
In the vein of “…Baby One More Time,” Aguilera channeled her fellow pop star perfectly with Fallon giving her a standing ovation.
“Oh, my God! That is something I’ve always wanted! That is amazing. I loved that so much!” he gushed. “That was fantastic. Hard to top that, but I’ll try.”
Fallon then performed “Itsy Bitsy Spider” as Michael McDonald.
For the last round, Aguilera sang the “Golden Girls” theme song as Shakira using “Whenever, Wherever” as her inspiration.
