Hot off the (spiked) heels of their blockbuster "Fifty Shades of Grey," stars Dakota Johnson and Rita Ora giddily reunited backstage at Oscar rehearsals.

Ora, who plays Christian Grey's sister in the film, was there to sing the nominated song "Grateful" from "Beyond the Lights." Johnson, the object of Grey's affections, was on hand to practice her lines ahead of her presentation duties at Sunday's ceremony.

"It's going to be so great!" Johnson said to the British singer, who seemed less than convinced.

"I'll be here," Johnson reassured her. "Just look at me and I'll give you (this)," she said, grinning goofily and putting both thumbs up.

Not that Ora had reason to worry. Her voice was majestic, matching the elegance of the illuminated stage, if not her hip, tomboy ensemble of baggy jeans, chambray shirt and bedazzled Chanel chain choker.

"OK, love you!" Ora said, hugging Johnson tightly.

The actress, who is set to bring mother Melanie Griffith to the show, bubbled with enthusiasm as she stepped on the Oscar stage.

"Is this really where everybody's sitting?" she asked a stage manager, scanning the seats for her picture placard.

She ran through her lines with her hands in the pockets of her oversized overalls, and finished with a "The Price Is Right"-style flourish.
