Lady Gaga is engaged.
The “Artpop” singer said yes to longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney when he popped the question on Valentine’s Day.
The singer shared the news on Instagram Monday when she posted a photo of the heart-shaped ring Kinney gave her.
After the proposal, Gaga, 28, and the “Chicago Fire” actor celebrated at Joanne’s Trattoria, the restaurant owned and operated by her family, Us Weekly reports.
The couple first met on the set of Gaga’s “You and I” video back in 2011.
Last year, Gaga spoke about the dynamic of their relationship during an appearance on Sirius XM’s “Morning Mash-Up.”
When asked if she was submissive to Kinney, 33, she answered, “Yes, actually.”
“Oh yeah, he’s totally in charge. When I’m home, I’m like, shoes are off, I’m making him dinner. He has a job too and he’s really busy,” she explained.
She continued, “I’m in charge all day long. The last thing I wanna do is tell him what to do. It’s not good for relationships to tell men what to do, female listeners who are out there.”
A rep for Lady Gaga did not immediately return a request for comment.
