Ricky Martin has a heavenly sense of humor.
A YouTube video went viral over the weekend suggesting the Puerto Rican singer had died in a car crash in California. The video showed a man in a black suit standing in front of the Marin County Sheriff's office giving a press conference where he lays out the details of Martin's alleged death as a result of a car accident.
While the video was a hoax, the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer’s fans mourned his loss on social media.
It turns out Martin was in heaven -- he was kicking back on the beaches of his homeland, Puerto Rico.
In response to the rumors, the 43-year-old singer posted several photos on Instagram of “heaven,” a.k.a. a beach in Puerto Rico, where Martin has been vacationing for the holidays.
