HBO has given a pilot order to an untitled comedy toplined by Sarah Silverman.

The single-camera laugher stars Silverman as a pathologically honest woman having a modern mid-life crisis.

Lucy Prebble (“Secret Diary of a Call Girl”) penned the pilot script and is exec producing with Silverman, Ash Atalla, Amy Zvi and Dan Hine.

Silverman is coming off an Emmy win this year, for writing in a variety special, for her 2013 HBO comedy special “We Are Miracles.” She ranks as one of the biz’s most prominent comedians, but she’s also recently branched out into drama.

Silverman logged a guest stint in the second season of Showtime’s “Masters of Sex,” and she stars as a self-destructive wife and mother in the indie feature “I Smile Back,” set to debut at the Sundance film fest next month.
