Ladies and gentlemen, we officially have our next "Bachelor!"
ABC announced today that former "Bachelorette" contestant Chris Soules has been tapped to woo the next lucky batch of ladies on the "Bachelor's" 19th season.
The 32-year-old farmer from Iowa stole every woman's heart when he was vying for Bachelorette Andi Dorfman's affections—and now it's time for the girls to fight for him! With his sensitive personality and swoon-worthy smile, Chris quickly became a fan-favorite on the last season of ABC's romance-fueled competition series.
Before Wednesday's official announcement, many fans speculated that the spot for the next "Bachelor" could go to Andi Dorfman's runner-up Nick Viall. ET's Nancy O'Dell sat down with Viall to find out what he thought of the possibility of moving back into the "Bachelor" mansion.
"Anyone would be flattered to even be considered, but I would have to talk to my family, I don’t know. I would have to make sure that my heart is open and ready for that out of fairness to myself and those other people," Vial said before adding that Chris would be a great choice to continue the "Bachelor" lineage.
