Demi Lovato has ripped into Lady Gaga—accusing her of “glamorizing eating disorders.”

The 21-year-old was left fuming by Gaga’s recent onstage antics at SXSW, which featured Gaga’s friend Millie Brown sticking her fingers down her throat and “vomiting” a bright green liquid all over the singer.

“Sad… As if we didn’t have enough people glamorizing eating disorders already. Bottom line, it’s not ‘cool’ or ‘artsy’ at all,” Demi tweeted after the controversial performance.

“Would you let someone bring a needle and shoot up on you? Addiction is addiction,” she followed up.

“It’s not ‘shade’ and it’s not ‘hate’. But someone has to come forward and say it and I’ll take the heat for it,” she then replied following accusations she was hating on Gaga.

And, she refused to back down from her stance, even after one follower pointed out Gaga herself has gone public in the past with her own personal experiences battling an eating disorder.

“So it’s cool if I do a speech about self-harm and then proceed to watch someone cut themselves on my stage?” Demi fired back, before going on to further argue her point in more tweets.

However, Demi managed to take the high ground—finishing on a positive note, telling her 21 million followers she’s still a Little Monster.
