The gift that keeps on giving? No, silly, we're not talking about Taylor Swift's many boyfriends.

Turns out she's a blonde pop star with a heart of gold.

Taylor Swift tops the chart for DoSomething.org’s most charitable celebrity of 2013. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that every year, the non-profit organization compiles a top 20 list of “Celebs Gone Good” featuring the stars with the most charitable contributions that sets them apart from the Hollywood pack.

This year, the honor goes to the 24-year-old “Red” singer/songwriter, who also led DoSomething.org’s list last year. For 2013, Swift was noted for participating at the Winter White charity gala in London, a benefit for homeless youth, as well as granting a $100,000 donation to the Nashville Symphony on her recent birthday.

Who garnered the number 2 spot? The British heartthrobs of One Direction, who kicked off 2013 by volunteering in Ghana “under the auspices of Comic Relief.” EW states former flame Harry Styles and Liam Payne raised over $800,000 for cancer research this year.

Maybe Styles wasn’t as much “Trouble” as one may think.

Others celebs on the list include fellow country darling Carrie Underwood, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lawrence, and Justin Bieber on the 20th spot.
