If Jennifer Lawrence wasn't an Oscar-winning actress, the 23-year-old "American Hustle" star says she'd probably be a hotel maid. After all, she knows from personal experience that maids stumble upon some pretty wild stuff.
"Definitely, I would be a hotel maid, because it's all of my favorite cleaning," she told Conan O'Brien on Wednesday night's show. "Like, I don't like dishes and I don't like the kitchen, but I love beds and bathrooms and spraying, and going through everybody's stuff. Like every day, there's new people to snoop on. It would be my dream."
And as it turns out, Lawrence has been on the other end of that snooping — when a maid accidentally found a slew of sex toys under her bed.
"This is actually really funny. Somebody, as a joke, bought me a bunch of butt plugs … it's a long story," she laughed. "So I had a copious amount of butt plugs … and then the maid was coming, so I was like, 'Well, I'll just shove this under the bed so she doesn't see all these butt plugs!'"
Unfortunately for Lawrence, the maid not only found her sex toys, but extracted them from their hiding place.
"I came back, and all of them were brought out of the bed, and were in this beautiful display on my bedside table," she said.
"I wanted to leave a note [reading] 'not mine,' or 'bought as joke,'" added Lawrence, who was thoroughly embarrassed by the ordeal.
