She might be Prince Harry's main squeeze, but Cressida Bonas won't be attending Prince George's christening this Wednesday.

According to PEOPLE.com, sources close to the 24-year-old say she wasn't even offered an invitation to the private event — and nor was she expecting one. "It was always so unlikely that she would be invited," a friend told the publication.

Instead, the guest list contains William, Kate, their immediate families, and the friends they've chosen to serve as Prince George's godparents.

"If [Bonas] went to this totally private service, it would be tantamount to saying [she and Harry] were about to be engaged," another source told PEOPLE.

This news contradicts earlier rumors which suggested Bonas had received an invite to Harry's nephew's ceremony, but was still deciding whether or not to attend.

George will be christened during a 45-minute ceremony at the Chapel Royal on Wednesday, October 23, with official photographs to be taken afterward at the Clarence House.
