Jennifer Aniston looked fantastic as she hit the red carpet for the New York premiere of “We’re the Millers” on Thursday night, showing off her taut body with a form-fitting, strapless purple Burberry dress. But if you looked hard enough, you might have made out a barely-there bump in the belly region.

Come to mention it, Aniston was even snapped (gasp) with her hands on her stomach!

And with that, Jen was pregnant.

“Jennifer Aniston ‘We’re The Millers’ Premiere: Showing Off A Bump?” questioned Hollywood Life; “Jennifer Aniston Shows Off Her Lil’ Bump” screamed  Entertainment Wise: "Jennifer Aniston Fuels Baby Talk At ‘We’re the Millers’ Premiere,” clucked RadarOnline.

Except that she's not.

More On This...

“She is not pregnant,” the star’s rep told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column.

Again.

Because this isn’t the first -- or ever the 20th -- time the stomach of the former “Friends” star has ignited a blogosphere of “baby belly” rumors. In January this year the prego machinery snapped into action after she was pap-snapped in a bikini. And back in September 2009, Aniston flaunted her fabulous figure in a grey mini-dress at the Los Angeles premiere of “Love Happens” – accentuating her athletic legs, the outcome of intense physical fitness sessions with yoga guru Mandy Ingber, and making no effort to hide her refreshingly normal, ever-so-slightly protruded stomach. Again, the “oh-my-gosh-she-is-pregnant” reports ran rampant.

According to data provided by Yahoo!, over the past week searches for “is jennifer aniston pregnant” have spiked off the charts, up 99 percent this month over the previous. Searches involving her state of expectancy have also spiked numerous times over the past few years – gaining significant traction in early 2012 and late spring 2013.

But has it ever occurred to the entertainment press and Interwebs that perhaps – just perhaps – Aniston has just sported the same healthy body for the most 20-odd years in the spotlight? And that not having a concave stomach in Hollywood doesn't automatically render you with child?

“The media will either respond that you are out-of-shape or pregnant. The pregnancy rumors seem to be Hollywood’s charitable interpretation of a normal stomach,” body image expert and author of “Love Your Body, Love Your Life” Sarah Maria told FOX411's Pop Tarts column. “It is really quite irrelevant unless and until she is in fact pregnant and makes a statement. Otherwise, why not focus on her acting?”

If the tabloids over the past decade or two were to be believed, she has been expecting dozens of times, even twins, has contemplated adoption, undergone many years of fertility treatments. So what’s with the fascination?

“She is a very sexy woman, she is no longer 20-something (i.e. she is perceived as having a ticking biological clock,) she is famous for NOT having a child with Brad Pitt who went on to have children with another woman,” explained Dr. Gail Saltz, a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and author of “Anatomy of a Secret Life: The Psychology of Living a Lie.” “Pregnancy is seen as this kind of feminine power, the ability to procreate. Jennifer is a well-liked celebrity that many imbue with a feminine power by virtue of her persona and being admired. These things unconsciously drive us to expect she will be expecting.”

Only time will if Aniston chooses motherhood. If and when that happens, you can rest assured she's going to be looking good regardless.

"Jennifer works her butt off to maintain the one she walks down red carpets," added entertainment and style expert, Valerie Greenberg. "She should absolutely be applauded for her fabulous figure because working out and eating healthy takes a tremendous amount of discipline.”
