Shakira and boyfriend Gerard Piqué are not the only ones expecting a new bundle of joy.
According to Huffington Post Voces, Shakira’s ex Antonio de la Rúa, whom she was with for 11 years, announced he is also expecting his first child with model Daniela Ramos.
Shakira confirmed pregnancy rumors on her website last week, just as De la Rúa made headlines for suing Shakira for a whopping $250 million.
The heart-shattered De la Rúa, who was Shakira’s love interest and manager, says he is seeking “compensation” after he abandoned his career as a publicist when the two called it quits back in 2010.
Now De la Rúa, 38, will officially be the baby daddy of Ramos, 24, whom he met at a Shakira concert right before he and Shakira broke up.
Voces says that members of Ramos’ family revealed the model/DJ is due at about the same time that Shakira is set to give birth.
Back in July, rumors were swirling about De la Rúa plan to wed Ramos. He allegedly invited Shakira to the wedding.
The website adds that De la Rúa hopes to be married by the time their baby is born.
