'American Idol' winner Phillip Phillips is on the up and up after undergoing kidney surgery.

The 21-year-old singer got an outpouring of support from fans and like many people this day in age, took to Twitter to show his gratitude saying "It means a lot to my family and I. I'm just resting and healing." He later added that he's "ready to be able to pick the guitar back up and really play, it's been too long."

As Phillips is on the road to recovery Carly Rae Jepsen is celebrating as Billboard.com reports that she became the first woman in a year to top the Billboard Pop Songs Chart with her first entry as a lead artist with "Call Me, Maybe." The catchy tune also sits atop Billboard's Hot 100.

Hoping to soon enter the Billboard charts is none other than R&B singer Usher, who sends out his 7th studio album called "Looking For Myself." Usher is also set to perform at this year’s BET Awards on July 1st.

To nobody's surprise Kanye West leads with seven nominations at the big award show. Not too far behind is Beyonce with six and Mr. Beyonce, Jay-Z with five.

To follow up on last week's 411 Playlist, No Doubt, lead by the beautiful Gwen Stefani, announced the name of the long awaited studio album, "Push and Shove." They broke the news on their official web site and also announced that their lead single will be called "Settle Down."
