As country music fans descend upon Nashville for the four-day celebration that is the 2012 CMA Music Festival, Fox 411 Country gears up to join them by bringing a Round-Up full of some events so far that have helped get the party started!

The 2012 CMT Music Awards on June 6th gave the stars shiny new trophies to boast as they kick off their busy weeks.  Carrie Underwood added two CMT “buckles” to her collection, as she took home the video of the year award for “Good Girl” as well as collaborative video of the year for “Remind Me” with Brad Paisley.  Luke Bryan scored a big win as his “I Don’t Want This Night to End” won male video of the year.  Miranda Lambert got her third consecutive female video of the year for “Over You.”

Representing for the groups, Lady Antebellum won group video of the year for “We Owned the Night” and when it comes to duos that honor of duo video of the year went to Thompson Square for “I Got You.”

There has already been plenty of giving back going on in town from Darius Rucker holding his third annual “Darius and Friends Concert” on June 4th benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to Rodney Atkins hosting the second annual free “Music City Gives Back” benefit where donations could be made to the American Red Cross.  There will be many more events with stars out to support their causes throughout the weekend.

Fox 411 Country also brings you a look inside that Taylor Swift exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum that opened up just in time for the Festival.  It’s called “Taylor Swift: Speak Now- Treasures From The World Tour” and runs through November.

Fox 411 Country caught up with The Band Perry in an exclusive interview when the trio held a special performance in New York City. They told us about their Festival plans which include their very first fan party with a theme that the fans “are the stars” with a red carpet and all.  Plus they told us how excited they are to play LP Field and gave us the scoop on their highly anticipated upcoming sophomore album.  Check it out in the Round-up and find much more with The Band Perry on Fox411.com.

Then as the CMA Music Festival continues keeping the biggest names in the business busy with their fan club parties, autograph signings, concerts, and more  - we will continue to bring you the news from Nashville.  Stay tuned!
