For all those hoping JLO and Marc Anthony would be getting back together, those dreams are now over.
In some not so shocking news, Marc Anthony has made his separation from Jennifer Lopez official, filing for divorce on Monday.
In his petition to end the couple’s seven-year marriage, Anthony cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
As TMZ reported, Anthony is seeking joint physical and legal custody of the couple’s 4-year-old twins, Max and Emme, along with a request that Lopez be denied spousal support, should she ask for it.

There appears to be no animosity between the two as they have made numerous public appearances together since their split last July to promote their joint business ventures, including a clothing line for Kohl's Department stores and the reality television series "Q'Viva!"
But while the two are getting along, that does not mean they are doing it alone as both Lopez and Anthony have rebounded with much younger companions.
Lopez and her beau, 24-year-old Casper Smart, have been flaunting their love worldwide while Anthony and his Venezuelan model girlfriend, Shannon De Lima, who is 24 as well, have been displaying some serious PDA of their own.
When reports first surfaced of their split, reports claimed that the couple had ended their relationship because Anthony was controlling and jealous of Lopez’s success.
Even though the couple has kept mum on the specifics, Anthony has denied being jealous of his wife’s reinvigorated career following her return to American Idol.
"I think anybody will tell you how I supported her, from day one," he said. "I'm really, really happy for her. … We're going to be in each other's lives for many, many, many years, and I'm glad that our friendship is that strong. … What would make it difficult is if we didn't get along."
