JERSEY CITY, N.J. – "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is engaged to her boyfriend of a year and a half, sources told People magazine Monday.
The news comes just days after reports that Polizzi and Jionni LaValle are expecting their first child together later this year.
Polizzi, 24, has yet to confirm her pregnancy -- and denied it in multiple talk show interviews -- but she reportedly brokered a deal to announce the news on the cover of Us Weekly.
She could also reveal to her "Jersey Shore" castmates that she is expecting when she tapes a post-season reunion episode Monday night, according to the New York Post.
All of the cast members except for Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro are set to participate in the reunion episode, which will likely air in late March. No reason was given for Sorrentino's and Ortiz-Magro's absence.
A source close to the production of a "Shore" spinoff show -- which follows Polizzi and fellow cast member Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley on their adventures in Jersey City -- told the New York Post that plans for the show have changed in light of her pregnancy.
"Instead of partying, it will now show a whole new side to Snooki," the insider said.
LaValle was spotted moving boxes into Polizzi's temporary Jersey City digs over the weekend, according to People.
She told the magazine in January that LaValle was "the one, so I know the ring's gonna come soon."
The pint-sized reality star warned that LaValle would have to come through with an impressive engagement ring, because "if it's small I'm saying no. Like, 'Get another ring!'"
