Not everyone loved JLO’s peek-a-boo Oscar moment.

After her supposed wardrobe malfunction Sunday night, which Lopez’s stylist quickly dismissed as utterly false, reports have surfaced saying that the star’s revamped sexy style is to make her ex, Marc Anthony, jealous.

Daring to bare in a revealing Zuhair Murad gown with a plunging neckline, Lopez made headlines when her nipple was reportedly visible while the actress presented the Academy Award for Best Costume Designs and Make-Up with fellow Latina and “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” co-star Cameron Diaz.

While Lopez’s new man, backup dancer Casper Smart, has no issues with the star flaunting her famous curves, her ex apparently has an opinion on the matter.

During their seven years of marriage, Anthony hated Lopez’s sex symbol status and wanted his wife to cover up.

According to US Weekly, a source close to the former couple told the mag that Lopez’s signature sexy style was a serious issue during the couple’s relationship.

"He would make her feel terrible about herself if she wanted to wear something sexy," the source said. "He likes her to dress in a demure, 'wife' style. He hated the fact that she was as a sex symbol."

During the American Idol judge’s 2010 cover shoot for the weekly publication, Anthony took creative control telling the photographer that one picture of his wife was "too sexy and unbecoming for a 40-year-old mother of two," a source said.

When the couple announced their split last July, reports claimed that the couple had ended their relationship because Anthony was controlling and jealous of Lopez’s success.

While Anthony didn't go into specifics of the reasons for the split, he denied being jealous of his wife’s reinvigorated career following her return to American Idol.

"I think anybody will tell you how I supported her, from day one," he said. "I'm really, really happy for her. … We're going to be in each other's lives for many, many, many years, and I'm glad that our friendship is that strong. … What would make it difficult is if we didn't get along."
